A century plant and Point Sublime on the North Rim.  Looking southeast with the San Francisco Peaks in the extreme distance.  The haze in the canyon is from air pollution and a controlled burn in the North Kaibab National Forest occurring at the time of this photo.

This is the main entry to the North Rim Lodge.  The back of the lodge is directly on the rim of the canyon with a massive open air fireplace and very impressive views.  This lodge does not have rooms - overnight lodging is provided in two-hundred individual cabins.
