Dewey Bridge remains

View north from the south side of the Colorado River to the remains of the Dewey Suspension Bridge support tower and main cables.   The bridge was destroyed by fire on April 6, 2008 by a seven year old boy playing with matches.  It withstood fire for 92 years but a seven year old boy destroys it in an instant.   A very real loss.

View north of just the main support cable remains.   The location of the removed Rio Colorado Development site is visiable on the bench below the band of sandstone beyond.
